High school spreads taekwondo to the world
국내고등학교가 태권도를 세계에 알린다
Seoul Information Technology (IT) High
School, which is renowned for its strong taekwondo team, has been striving to
transfer its techniques for martial arts abroad by forming partnerships with
foreign schools.
아주 우수한 태권도팀을 보유한 고등학교로 잘 알려진 서울아이티고등학교는 해외학교들과 교류를 통하여 태권도의 기술을 전파하고자 노력해왔다 .
"In recognition of our school's superiority in taekwondo, many countries
send their athletes here in order to have a joint exercise," Kim Sung-kyu,
principal of the high school, said.
“ 우리학교의 태권도 우수성을 인정한 많은 나라에서 태권도 합동훈련을 시키기 위하여 우리 학교로 선수들을 많이 보내고 있습니다 ” 라고 김성규 교장이 말했다 .
The school received one Japanese sportsman as a freshman this year, he said. It
also hosts annual joint events with athletes from Mexico and Burma.
“ 우리 학교는 금년에 일본인 유학생 한 명을 신입생으로 받아 들였다 ” 라고 김교장은 말했다 . 이 학교는 매년 멕시코와 미얀마에서 온 선수들과 연례행사를 유치 한다
